Alexandra Maria Lara, a Romanian and German actress working in film and TV is most well-known for her roles in films like Rush as well as Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. She was the sole child of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. Alexandra started her career in show business in the early years of her life. When she was 16, Alexandra had landed the leading roles in numerous television dramas. The role she played as Adolf Hitler's Secretary Traudl Jue, in Downfall (an Oscar-nominated wartime historical film), was critically and critically acclaimed commercially. The other Oscar nominated films featuring the diva include The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex. Alexandra is well-known for her work in numerous important projects in both the US as well as internationally.
